The Word and why some people get saved every day and then go home to loose their salvation. You degrade faster than you regenerate.

There are disciples and the un-disciples.  The gifts of God are given and may work in spite of the lack of true repentance (Romans 11:29) but the efficacy of the gift to bless others may remain dormant without the requisite uh discipline.  You may be blessed with an insight but you have not studied the word to prevent the insight being dimmed by a lack of ability to apply  or open the word with sufficient knowledge of the word.  The end result is a sermon or message without scriptural back-up and so you may end speaking for your self primarily and not the WORD. Jesus is the living WORD.Now that Jesus ( the Word) has left us physically, the best way to know Him( the WORD) is to spend time in the WORD as He did. A Sushi chef must know his tools and his knives. A concert pianist must know his piano. An architect must know his joists. A minister in the word must know the WORD.  It says the chief priests in Acts 4 recognized that the disciples, although  not known as students of the synagogue, spoke as learned men and who had spent time with Jesus clearly. While we are unable to spend time with the Lord's physical presence so to ( 2 Timothy 2:15) speak, we can be disciples as we spend time in His spiritual presence, studying to show ourselves as approved in properly reiterating the  word of truth. In spite of your gift, you will either help Him gather or scatter ( Matthew 12:30). Scattering will occur in one's lack of ability to reflect salt and light in their public and private lives. You preach light and then abuse those closest to you. The equation amounts to zero in the hypocrisy. You have not properly reiterated the word of truth. Who can trust anything that you say when you spend time with a woman who refuses to send you a copy of an email sent to her by your uncle or Grandfather and who cannot believe that you are faithful for some horribly insecure reason? In spite of 1st Corinthians 13, the Lord does not encourage you to consort with abusive people although they seek surrogate sources of unconditional love. They are abusive because they have not forgiven their abuser and seek to have relationships with people who will tolerate, politely and prayerfully, their patterns of selfishness, emotional dependency and un-forgiveness with the hope that the abusive creation of God may heal. They may have been abused by someone who they have not forgiven but it is not your job to be an outlet of the overflow of their continually rising steam of their negative experiences. That is the Lord's job and they can vent to the Lord by worshiping and thanking the Lord for having some idea of what it may have been like to experience the cross. Remember the cross. What did the Lord say on the cross to overcome the abuse he suffered and to resurrect( regenerate)? He said, "... forgive them."  They claim that it is your job to make them feel good. That is an un-Godly burden and discloses in their claim the instability of their emotional foundations built upon shifting sands and not the word ( Matthew 7:24-27).  Such an abusive person is really a zombie or parasite who failed to hold on to the only true spiritual source of unconditional love as set in your physiological-spiritual programming. The programmer also keeps tadpoles alive in cold water during the Spring. He designed you to have one mate as well and not to dishonor your psyche while you honor your self and the one mate of the opposite gender. You degrade faster than you regenerate and this occurs when you dishonor your heart, mind, body and soul, causing degeneration. Read Ecclesiastes 7:29.  If you are too young  or un-discipled to recall the verse number, recall the verse itself and you can always look it up. Google what you can recall. An old man once said that you should commit the word to memory early so that you can call on it when you are older as a grand parent responsible  in the purpose of resource management ( managing your children's children). Also, if you are in doubt in certain moral situations, ask yourself if it feels like Ronald McDonald since he gives out free toys and his restaurant makes sure the food is as safe as A and W or Sonic.  If it does not, then you probably should not do it.
