Romans 2 in the bible.

The real goal of the Christian life is not authority as if you could start a church called the church of the second death contrary to Hebrews 9 and why would anyone do that? Jesus' sacrifice was sufficient according to the word. The goal is community as all have sinned. All of our righteous deeds are like filthy rags. The goal is recognition and acceptance of imperfection in your humanity and peace once it is accepted. You can be as emotional as you want but emotion may not be peace. It may not be education and maybe you wish you took the free extra classes so that you could understand that not all right angle triangles have two 45 degree angles. Some do and some don't. Think about a very long and short rectangle. No matter what, you should not devalue yourself in comparing yourself with others and decide that you need to  do something illegal to feel equal. You have to devalue yourself in the process of thought but why not just celebrate your decision to take the non-advanced track or celebrate your decision not to read the bible.  Feel good about yourself and your choice but don't kill people who chose something else.   Notice that one angle is always 90 degrees if it is a right angle triangle and murder is always an offence contrary to the Queen's peace. This is also true of impersonation. No one should have to die for your free and equal choices. Everybody was prepared for the advanced course in grade 8. Grade 8 was the same for everyone.  There is only one grade 8 syllabus. Aren't you eating? Is there a reason why you should be the only one? There is a new magazine coming out called play house with a centrefold spread of a Duncan Hines cake with all of the measurements before and after the mix. The couples with their designer jeans on who baked the cake are lying on the kitchen floors or on the bed stroking the ladle or the spoon for the mix. They are holding smart phones and rolling around. I don't know what happened in 1953 with the other version but I don't think it did any good for the average household that did not need to be nuclear at 2.1 children.
Apparently Ms. Clintock of New Mexico decided that she had to kill some people of ethnic minority background and also save some for the authority and she told her husband this wisdom that was a part of her Nazi ancestry.

Solomon, son of Israel, Judah and David was asked once to decide between two angry mothers as to who was the actual mother of a child. Only one was sufficiently human and compassionate enough to let the child live as God created him instead of cutting the child in half; ending the life. It has nothing to do with dna but love and being sufficiently healthy psychologically. If both mothers were missing a few human fundamentals even if one of them was the birth parent, Solomon would have had to say neither was the actual mother. His test had nothing to do with dna. It had to do with love and a human individual's health. Neanderthal mothers, in spite of dna, would have saved the child's life and would have cried to save him.

There were many languages spoken in the Roman empire. Do you understand that Latin is separate and distinct from the collapsed Empire of Rome?

Believe something. A lot of people died so that you could.

Didn't Harriet Tubman run away and declare her freedom or at least receive and enjoy freedom as a God's bright child? For how many generations will you run around and say you need to feel equal to whom ever they may be who decided to enjoy the free library down the road and who felt good and appreciative about it while you damaged his fence and stole his potatoes to feel equal? Take your freedom.  You were born free. You might have had an ancestor who was a slave but how sure can you be? In any event, you are just what you believe and you can continue to enslave your community with anxiety about feelings of equality as to whether someone was favored or is superior to you because they went to school in Vermont and you went to school in Brooklyn as you intersect at a big state college in New Mexico so you steal their underwear to be equal or you steal their socks. But, they may have less of those multicultural delicacies in Vermont and the average cost of a lease is much higher. Maybe you have a more enriched experience in Brooklyn. I am not really sure actually but is rather possible. But, why would you do that? Doesn't that make you inferior if you steal their stuff? Buy your own socks at Marshalls for $4.00.  Is this part of the shades of black because you know what you've done and they will shoot more of you, them, or it (the idiocy) on live tv because you are tired of your idiocy.  The airlines are starting to let you on the planes by opening the big computerized 150 pound gates. You did not want to get on, they say come in and then they say you trespassed but you wanted to just clarify your ticket purchase or discount on application. You didn't need to enter to get an answer. Now, they blow up something or kill people for respect to blot out with blood what was the more obvious Christmassy answer. Who needs a dunce country with grade sex understanding and big bum and gut bubbly feeling who are soo afraid that someone is going to see behind the wizard's veil at Oz? But, everybody can see the answer if you graduate from an American High School. The answer is that Shakespeare wrote morality equations and so did Dickens. It is the essence of our lives as human beings. It's very simple so who cares if you can read and understand the plays and books with an English qualification or an American qualification. If you respect the American qualification, you will not resent any English qualification or the qualified. You know you are capable and you don't spend a dollar damaging his Silver Adidas football shoes to see if they were a special issue.  Is someone naked some where who cannot read a cereal box and who is not sure of what to do about it?  Just add milk.   Ok?     You could have been a dead billionaire at 12 years old. But, you are alive today so enjoy your freedom or did you kill someone who told you this in syncopated rhythms as you felt your only identity threatened?  If you have an ancestor who was born in freedom, then you are not anyone who should look at the slavery experience as part of your identity. Why should you? This does not discount the fact that it happened but are you going forward or backward? You lynch your own people continually out of anxiety about authority after they graduate but you beat them in your homes when they only bring home a C ( "..Your granddad milked cows and walked ten miles in St. C---- or *&^%   so get an A(2:1) or B or jump and since you are black you must work twice as hard." ) while they are doing their weekly or semester courses at high school and the older generations jealously guard their positions as they consider the B and above graduates  a threat socially but they signed your references.  You don't need to worry about the clan(KKK) with that nonsense. You gave them an all inclusive vacation from the work. They buy gas stations and golf courses now and you do the killing. Killing is too messy.  This type of lynching is self-negation. How could the writer of the New York Times piece or the writer of that essay be black; you ask? But, they were Black since the 19th century; at least some of them.   Did you ever read a newspaper in the West Indies? Those are Black journalists and academics in many cases.  Coretta King was on to you and told you to step into a church for some healing.   But you continued in your negation. So, your message to your community is that if any of those students that you pet on the head want to live after graduation,  get a B and above while you study and C on graduation or else they will call you disloyal since in their opinion you must understand too well the people who paid for the roads.  This psychology continually discounts the role of all of those Black scientists and architects in the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th centuries that include the peanut butter guy; Carver. Search Carver on youtube. He also designed plastics for Ford but some evil, gay people will tell you he is a myth. Without a doubt, Bill Moyers  believes Carver existed.   He ate peanut butter once. But, Carver worked at Ford for six figures designing special plastics from plant materials. You don't believe the various contributions or you dissociate from the notion in a sea of identity conveniences with various beauty products. But, you have to be black even to yourself most of the time; right?  But, everybody is white when they are naked in the dark. That is how Salome got her throat cut in the bible.  It's biblical.  There is some evidence to demonstrate this as she claimed the dead sea scrolls and other writings as her own and tried to hand them in for her Belly Dance certificate.  She was very fat and kind of gay.  But, do not let the school steal and murder you with a false transcript either but how would you know unless you ask for your exam books?   Who is anxious about authority in the year 2016 when you can google any pie recipes you want?  There is an almost free community swimming pool down the road and an exercise room. So, enjoy and relax or are you anxious that someone took out a book, wrote down the names of six 1954 car designs and feels authoritative because he learned something? People who are anxious about that shift in feeling in a social arena or family setting are more than likely already a murderer as they get anxiety when some other individual within 20 feet of them in the same home or work environment may have learned something ; has to be("...show me again Danny!") !  I am confident that the next leader of the authority seeking world is a graduate of life; just like the last one and he appreciates his freedom from some tyranny that does not need to be revisited or resurrected  in the cuddly form of Star Wars action figures again and again.  Personally, I would choose the empire as a free person since they seem to have a lot of work but unfortunately they kill off all the nice planets where less angry people live  and where they could get some fresh food and water. As a result, in the end, they are redundant to everyone with their self-negation. They need a little sun.  Freedom with out appreciation is tyranny. Sex without covenant is tyranny.   As such, the Lord of the Rings beats the Lord of the Flies since the rings keep the shires safe with a fail safe in terms of rules and balance so that there is no arbitrariness in the rule of law and any allegements. The Flies carry disease and dirtiest, fattest maggot wins.  He's the king where the power of one man resisteth the power of another like Hobbes said. There is no true communal team work in the end( the good Leviathan team work that saves us all) but gangs of loose cooperative associations for survival that cannot succeed in covering the fact that it is really every man for himself if you don't respect publicly and privately the social Leviathan contract of mutual peace and commodious living.    Now, go and be thankful and don't think your ancestors from Europe as you imagine them falsely need you to screw things up in a vain and false recitation of their authority. They don't screw things up as it would embarrass the figure on the cash.  You are an indentured servant and penal passenger's descendant from the 16th century and you resent the establishment somehow innately; Beg! This is how we know. It comes out of your mouth and backside that oozes with disease.    You were arrested last week for saying it to someone in public and on the phone.  This nonsense is what you call culture. It's a verbal assault and the uttering of a threat and this is what you are teaching North American natives who you use some how for sex for cash. You prey on them. You promise to put their work into an investment but eventually, you tell them you gave it to a native at the airport who asked for it so they could enjoy a honeymoon; devil! Then, you tell people to "live it".  They are not asking you to embarrass everyone.  You've never been there and if you had been there, you would show some understanding of the freedom and the rule; naked trash! Put one some underwear. Maybe we are all full or partial descendants of indentured Euro trash in North America who began to leave Europe for the new world in the 15th century because if we are not, why are you are soo obsessed with someone's old vehicle? You have more than 400 years of hybridization in the West Indies. You look white but your brain is hesitant and you can't believe anything good about black people. They are some people who look black and their brain is quite willing to accept Dumas, Pushkin and Carver as Black. There were also some run away slaves who were given ships and sailed to the West Indies during the American Revolution and also the civil war; that is in the 18th and 19th centuries. Those abolitionists were usually Puritans, Anglicans and Quakers. You land the boat on a remote of an Island and build a few homes. The Hyderabad West Indian Orphans do it today. Some times they chant "...I need it, I need it" as they just take properties that are left vacant for months. Those abolitionists need some recognition. About that vehicle, he cut the seats up and you want to think the vehicle is a secret mission. Did you see the secret pit crew that jumps out of the bush or that flies in to save that old Japanese vehicle? There is no other explanation for the normalization and regularizing of the stupidity and the anxiety about the authority and you want everybody to know your anxiousness. Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius. All angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees. A straight line is 180 degrees but you want to call every android gay if they don't watch themselves get an oil change. If they don't, you beat up the android. So, who is gay and so anxious about it all day? No one doubts the mechanic's power over humanity. They could kill a young family's vehicle and watch in their emotions as the family freezes to death. So, know you are free. You were born free and you can be as gay as you want but should you be killing people for an old, used vehicle that is pretty clean with humility? This happens a lot in some countries but people have a society and system for which they voted.  But, many individuals have no time for the mis-application of their freedoms as to think about how you feel all day with your old vehicle or used shiny watch or is that a new watch? Do you work for Interpol secretly and is that the explanation as to why you won't sell it even though one keeps trying to kill your watch? Believe something. A lot of people died so that you could.

Special Presentation.

Arguing... no one is arguing but the day will come when you can order a replacement family that will come with the perfect "two faced" and "angry android chip where you can run around asking people what is a "2"? You could google something or ask people what is a Lido every where you go. Is there any one from that functional world who does not know what a 2 is? It's a number. A lido is a pool, so take a nice swimming vacation.

So, no one is arguing with you about your favorite exercise. It makes you feel a certain way and there are others who understand. But, you are determined to make others feel the same way you do   although they chose a different kind of exercise.  Do they have to feel the same way as you do?  Do you have to think about how they feel all day and this is in comparison to your estimation about how you feel and how you think they should feel?   Would it matter if they owned  an extra pack of gum or a pair of shoes for travelling to sexy and exotic places?   Can every human being carry your particular mix of thoughts and emotions?

The Three Scripture Readings

SHORT TALK BULLETIN
Vol.9 December, 1931 No.12

In almost all of the Jurisdictions of the United States the Volume of the Sacred Law is open at the 133rd Psalm in the First Degree, at the Seventh Chapter of Amos in the second degree and at the Twelfth Chapter of Ecclesiastes in the third degree.
British Freemasons open their Bible in the first degree at Ruth iv:7: "Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbor; and this was the testimony in Israel."
In the second degree, the English use Judges xii:6: "Then said they unto him, Say Now Shibboleth; and he said Sibboleth; for he could not frame to pronounce it right. Then they took him, and slew him at the passages of Jordan; and there fell at that time of the Ephraimites forty and two thousand."
In the third degree the Masons of the British Jurisdiction open the Bible at I Kings vii:13-14:
And King Solomon sent forth and fetched Hiram out of Tyre. He was a Widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass; and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and came to King Solomon, and wrought all his work." Various other passages have been used at different times; the account of Abraham's intended sacrifice of Isaac in the first degree; I Kings vi:8, and again at II Chronicles iii:17 in the second degree; and Amos v:25,26 and II Chronicles vi:14,15 (the prayer of King Solomon at the dedication of the Temple) during the third degree.
Whether any of these passage are more appropriate than those almost universally in use in this country is a matter of opinion. Ours have to us the sanctity of long use, the sacredness of the familiar, and he would be a bold man indeed, who would try to change them. Alas, many who would fight vigorously for their retention understand them not; the grasshopper and the almond tree, the plumb line of the Lord and dew of Herman are still sealed mysteries to many Masons, although their interpretation is as beautiful as it is simple.
The 133rd Psalm used in an Entered Apprentice's lodge reads as follows:
"Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard; that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord Commanded the Blessing, even life for evermore."
Unity is an essential in a Masonic Lodge; unity of thought, of intention and of execution. It is but another word for harmony, which Freemasons are taught "is the strength and support of all well regulated institutions, especially this of ours." Dew is nature's blessing where rain is little in quantity, and the dew of Hermon is proverbially heavy. Israel poured precious ointments on the heads of those people honored; that which "went down to skirts of his garments" was evidently great in quantity, significant of the honor paid to Aaron, personification of the high priesthood, representative of the solidity of his group. The whole passage is a glorification of the beauty of brotherly love, which is why it is a part of the entered Apprentice's Degree, in which the initiate is first introduced to that principle tenet of the Fraternity.
"Thus he shewed me; and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumb line, with a plumb line in his hand. And the Lord said unto me, Amos, what seest thou" And I said, a Plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel; I will not again pass by them any more." (Amos vii:7,8) The vital and important part is that the Lord set a plumbline "in the midst of his people Israel." He did not propose to judge them by a plumbline afar off, in another land, in high Heaven, but here - here "in the midst" of them.
This is of intense interest to the Fellowcraft Mason, since it teaches him how he should judge his own work - and, more important, how he should judge the work of others.
Presumably plumblines hang alike. Presumably, all Plumbs, like all Squares and all Levels, are equally accurate. Yet a man may use a tool, thinking it accurate, which to another is not true. If the tools of building and the tools of judging be not alike, either the judgment must inaccurate, or the judgment should take into consideration the tool by which the work was done.
By the touch system a blind man may learn to write upon a typewriter. If a loosened type drops from the type bar when the blind man strikes the letter "e" he will make but a little black smudge upon the paper. It would not be reasonable to criticize the blind man for imperfect work as he has no means of knowing that his tool was faulty. If the smudges which stand for the letter "e" are all in the right places, then it is obvious that in spite of his handicap the blind man has perfectly operated his machine. This is a judgment by a plumbline "in the midst" of the man and his work. If, however, the paper with the smudged letters "e" was examined by one who knew nothing of the workman's blindness or nothing of his typewriter, doubtless he would judge it as imperfect.
The builders of the Washington Monument and the Eiffel Tower in Paris both used plumblines accurate to the level of the latitude on which these structures stand. Both are at right angles with sea level. Yet, to some observer on the moon, equipped with a strong telescope, these towers would not appear parallel. As they are in different latitudes they rise from the surface of the earth at an angle to each other.
Doubtless he who engineered the Monument would protest that the Memorial to Washington was right and the French Engineer's Tower wrong. Knowing his plumbline was accurate, the Frenchman would believe the monument crooked. But the Great Architect, we may hope, would think both right, knowing each was perfect by the plumb by which it was erected. Thus the lesson from Amos is that we are to judge our work by our own plumblines, not by another's; if we erect that which is good work, true work, square work by our own working tools - in other words, by our own standard - we will do well. Only when a Fellowcraft is false to his own conscience is he building other than fair and straight.
Of all the quotations, allusions, facts and names from the Great Light which are a part of the Masonic ritual, none has a more secure place in the hearts of the brethren than the first seven verses from Ecclesiastes xii.
Of the two favorite interpretations of Biblical commentators, one makes this dramatic passage a description of old age and senile decay; the other a reference to the seldom experienced and much feared thunder storm in Palestine.
The physical interpretation may be most easily considered verse by verse:
1. "Remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them".
2. "While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:"
The darkening of light and luminaries refer to coming blindness or extreme near-sightedness, and the clouds which return after the rain to a continuation of poor sight, even after much weeping.
3. "In the days when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened."
The keepers of the house are the hands which tremble with palsy in old age. The strong men are the legs which become bowed with the years. The grinders which cease because they are few are the teeth, and those that look out of the windows is a poetic expression for sight.
4. "And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;"
The doors are the ears which grow deaf in age and can no longer hear the sound of the grinding of grain in the little stone mills which the women use. To rise up at the voice of a bird may signify the light sleep of age easily interrupted by any slight sound, or nervousness which is so extreme in some old men that they start at any little noise. The daughters of music are the vocal cords which lose their timber in age, resulting in the cracked voice of senility.
5. "Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail; because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:"
The old man fears any height, knowing his brittle bones will stand no fall. He is timid, and he has no strength with which to defend himself. The almond tree blossoms white, like an old man's hair. Any little weight, even a grasshopper, is too much a burden for extreme age to carry. The old have no desires. The long home is the grave, in preparation for which the mourners go about the streets.
6. "Or ever the silver cord is loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain or the wheel broken at the cistern."
The silver cord is the spinal cord. The golden bowl is he brain, the pitcher broken at the fountain a failing heart, and the wheel broken at the cistern the kidneys, bladder and prostate gland, all of which give trouble to an old man.
7. "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it."
Whether or not the writer possessed a sufficient knowledge of anatomy to symbolize parts of the body as the "silver cord" the "golden bowl" the "pitcher", the "wheel broken at the cistern" is so problematical that much skepticism of this interpretation has been expressed. The people of Israel were nomads, tillers of the soil, vinyardists, tenders of flocks. Their wisdom was of the spiritual rather than the material. That they had dissected dead bodies enough to gather the relationship between its parts is not impossible as animal sacrifices were so common. But the imagery seems to be rooted in too high a degree of scientific knowledge to be wholly credible.
The storm interpretation is not open to this objection, and certainly it is far more in keeping with the magnificent poetry of the words.
Think of a windy day, with clouds and rain; towards evening it begins to clear, and the heavens turn black again as the "clouds return after the rain." This was a signal for caution if not for terror in Palestine. Men and women and children feared the thunder storm, probably because it came so seldom. Doors were shut in the streets. The strong guards who stood before the houses of the wealthy were afraid, and trembled, for they might not leave their places. The little mills with which the women ground grain eventide ceased; few would remain at their tasks in the face of the storm. Women in upper rooms drew back into the dark. Those outdoors became nervous; no one sang; the black thunderheads flourished their white tops like the almond tree; everyone feared the lightening and the thunder which was on high; even a little weight which kept a man from running to shelter was a burden.
Here the admonition is to remember the Creator before the terror of death, which is worse than the terror of the storm. The rich man with his golden water bowl hung on a silver chain must fear it. The poor man with his earthen pitcher who must send his women to the well for water is in terror. Even the man strong and rough as the crude wooden wheel which drew the skin bucket to the top of the well shook with fear. Death is the same for all, and feared alike by all.
Such an interpretation almost equals the poetry of expression. But read it how we will, the majestic awe-inspiring poetry rings home the solemn warning with a shake of the head and a shiver up the spine. . . Remember "now" thy Creator - "now," before the fearsome storms of life. or the decay of old age are upon you; wait not until "fears are in the way" to cry for help to the Almighty. Delay not until toothless, sightless, white haired age asks for help from on high because there is no help left on earth! Remember "now" thy Creator, while limbs are strong and desire ardent, while life pulses readily and the world is all before -.
Such is the intention of these ringing sentences, and such do they mean to Freemasonry. Every Master Mason learns so that he can never forget, when he who had received the benefit of lodge prayer had now to pray for himself. He who had been taught to fear not while in the hands of his brethren, stands at last, in allegory, in danger and alone.
No man thinks of his Master Mason's degree but hears again in his heart at least the beginning and ending of this sermon in poetry. "Remember now thy Creator, in the days of thy youth - then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." The solemn strokes on the bell which is Ecclesiastes and the soul-gripping drama of the legend of Hiram Abif are never to be known apart by him who met them together.

Ecclesiastes 12 King James Version (KJV)

1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:

3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,

4 And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of music shall be brought low;

5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:

6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.

7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

During the initiation of a new candidate, the following verse is quoted:

Psalm 133 King James Version (KJV)

133

1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

In some jurisdictions (Texas maybe?) the book of Amos is quoted in the start of the second degree:

Amos 7:7-8 King James Version (KJV)

7 Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.

8 And the Lord said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

In my jurisdiction, this quote from 1 Corinthians is used for the candidate:

1 Corinthians 13 King James Version (KJV)

13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Freemason Degrees and Biblical Meaning

Which pages of the Holy Book are opened during degree work?

Freemasons who wish to actively participate in degree work will have to memorize passages of scripture for proficiency.
Sponsored Links
With a true understanding of the meaning of each Masonic degree verse, your memorization will not just be the memorization of huge blocks of ritual words by rote (without understanding them).

This removes much of the mysticism of each verse's actual meaning and makes it much easier to remember the words, once you understand what is truly being said within the context of its ongoing flow...especially the Masonic Degree Verse in the 3rd degree.

In play form, the Masonic Degree Verse in Ecclesiastes can be acted out with gestures to enhance the experience and promote the Masonic knowledge of your brothers.
Below is the Masonic Degree Verse for each of the 3 degrees to which the Christian Bible is opened when performing each of these specific degrees and a discussion of its meaning.

ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that
              went down to the skirts of his garments;
Verse 3:  As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that
descended upon the mountains of Zion:
  for there the
  LORD
commanded the blessing, even life forever more."
_______
Who was Aaron?  Aaron was Moses' brother, and the first High Priest under the Mosaic covenant.
Who was Hermon?  Well,... Hermon isn't a he.

Hermon is a mountain (or technically, a range of high mountains on the northern boundary of Israel.  Mt. Hermon's snowcapped peaks were a source of ice, aka (also known as)  "Ice mountain".  The Six-Day War not only gave Israel control of Jerusalem, but also of the Mount Hermon area (Golan Heights).
The Masonic degree verse of the Entered Apprentice Degree represents Youth, when the body is strong.  Those who walk in the ways of the LORD are rewarded the blessing of eternal life.

Fellow Craft Degree Verse
Second Degree Verse

An easy way to remember the configuration of the compasses atop the square is:  Up North - Down South.  (a plumbline).  This refers to the left-most leg of the compasses being on top of the square and the right-most leg being under the square.

Amos, Chapter 7

Verse 7:  "Thus he shewed (archaic word meaning "showed") me: and, behold, the
 LORD
stood upon a wall made by a plumbline,
with a plumbline in his hand.
Verse 8:  And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou?
  And I said, A plumbline.
  Then said the LORD,
Behold, I will set a plumbline
in the midst of my people Israel:
I will not again pass by them any more."
_______
This Masonic degree verse,... then, as now, denotes the LORD's plumbline which represents uprightness of conduct throughout one's life.  The Fellow Craft degree denotes middle age.

Master Mason Degree Verse
Third Degree Verse

The Master Mason has learned to circumscribe his passions.  (See thePoint Within a Circle.)  Therefore, the compasses lie on top of the square.

Ecclesiastes, Chapter 12

Verse 1:  "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth,
while the evil days come not,
 nor the years draw nigh,
 when thou shalt say,
 I have no pleasure in them;
Verse 2:  While the sun, or the light, or the moon,
or the stars, be not darkened,
nor the clouds return after the rain:
Verse 3:  In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble,
and the strong men shall bow themselves,
and the grinders cease because they are few,
and those that look out of the windows be darkened.
Verse 4:  And the doors shall be shut in the streets,
when the sound of the grinding is low,
and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird,
and all the daughters of musick
 shall be brought low;
Verse 5:  Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high,
and fears shall be in the way,
and the almond tree shall flourish,
and the grasshopper shall be a burden,
 and desire shall fail:
because man goeth to his long home,
and the mourners go about the streets:
Verse 6:  Or ever the silver cord be loosed,
or the golden bowl be broken,
or the pitcher be broken at the fountain,
or the wheel broken at the cistern.
Verse 7:  Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was:
  and the spirit shall return
 unto God who gave it."
_______
This Masonic Degree verse found in Ecclesiastes Chapter 12 describes the infirmities of age.  When a Master Mason degree, (or third degree) is being worked, the Holy Book is opened to this passage in Ecclesiastes, which according to Jewish tradition, was written by King Solomon as a book of contemplation and his own personal self reflection.

What do these lines of Masonic Degree Verse actually mean?

Let's take a look at them again.
VERSE 1:  YOUTH ...Entered Apprentice

"Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth":  This alludes to the fact that as we grow older, each of us fondly remembers the glorious days of our youth when all things were possible.
With the hindsight of age and experience, advice is given to youth to "gather the harvest while they are young" because as we age, we change and are not able to enjoy things with the same lightness of heart.

VERSE 2:  MANHOOD ...Fellow Craft

"While the sun, or the light, or the moon,  or the stars, be not darkened," refers to the fact that as we grow older, our eyes begin to fail.
It is also an allegory to remembering back to the time when life looked bright with promise before the "twilight years" and "sunset years" of our lives.
"nor the clouds return after the rain:"  Rest and recuperation take longer as we age.

VERSE 3:  AGE ....Master Mason

"In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble"
, refers to no longer being able to take care of yourself.

"and the strong men shall bow themselves"
refers to the body's degeneration process and the inability to physically walk without stooping.
"and the grinders cease because they are few, refers to the loss of teeth.
"and those that look out of the windows be darkened" refers to failing eyesight.

VERSE 4:

"And the doors shall be shut in the streets"
refers to no longer being able to hear the noisiness of life due to deafness.
"and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird," refers to aged people being unable to sleep and arising early.
"and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low" refers to changes in the vocal chords which change and bring about a coarser and less melodious quality to the voice.

VERSE 5:

"When they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way."
Elderly people become unfamiliar with the speed of which the world changes.  Also, as we become older, our reflex speed decreases and things that we once tackled with abandon; we are now more cautious to attempt.
"And the almond tree shall flourish."
Almond trees have large, delicate, snow-white blossoms.  Figuratively, this means that our hair turns to white.
"And the grasshopper shall be a burden."
When we are young, hope springs eternal.  The grasshoppers that plagued the farmers were something to be dealt with by completely replanting the field, as a young man can withstand a total loss and look forward to the hope of the following seasons.
However due to his decreased energies, an elderly farmer would find that the loss of an entire year's harvest (and all the work of replanting) to be a devastation and the elderly farmer would not look upon the same issue as "lightly" as when he was a youth.
"And desire shall fail."
The dreams which take a long time to come to fruition are not as desirous in the elderly as in youth because they know they do not have the time to learn and work them to obtain the desired results.  The gradual decrease in physical desire also diminishes in both male and female.

VERSE 6:

"Or ever the silver chord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken."
The loosed silver cord is believed to denote the spinal column and therefore the physical infirmities (stooped back) of age.  The golden bowl is believed to denote the brain and the gradual decline of mental powers, which in dotage is described as senility.
"Or the pitcher be broken at the fountain."
Having a desire to urinate, but being unable to do so.
"Or the wheel broken at the cistern."
The body contains all its blood, (the cistern is full), but the heart's pumping action (the wheel) ceases.

VERSE 7:

"Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was; and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it."
This last portion of the Masonic degree verse refers to "ashes to ashes, dust to dust", which are still the words voiced when we inter (bury) the dead.
While this Master Mason, third degree Masonic degree verse may seem unduly depressing to some, as it describes the deterioration of each individual part of the body; it accurately describes our journey through life and makes us ponder on our choices.
While it describes the deterioration of our physical "temple", and the passages of time which happen to each of us, we must remember that our ending is the same as our beginning.
The LORD created us, gave us HIS commandments of law and it is to him that we return...which is the final triumph...the one treasure in life that cannot be taken away.
If you have lived your life properly, old age is no longer "the evil days", but becomes instead, reminiscent of the harvest...the love, the friendships, the experiences and the fond memories...
...the true cornucopia of receiving the "plenty".

30 proper and posh quotes and your own ideas in the mix creates a beautiful essay.

Did you know that every Jamaican, after the English occupation under Chief(Captain) Black Beard, were genetically one fifth English? This is why the stories and tales of old England seem so familiar; tales such as Oliver Twist where everybody is an orphan and even if you are not, you better feel connected to a father in spite of one or two options by saying ``Dad Pa Pa`` 60 minutes an hour, 24 hours a day. This is so that you will feel quiet and submitted to someone or something whether or not you used someone else`s essays to graduate. Certainly, in using the essays written by some other human in some other culture or both cultures in an orphan society everybody is equal. If you were sure of your name, would you use anybody`s essays? It is the work of a bastard to use someone else`s essays to graduate. But, no Jamaican is a bastard. They know who they are as a proud and diverse people with a reverence for God and humanity. Anyone who would use another individual`s essays or encourage such use might as well take the authority for killing civic minded individuals like King, Malcolm Little or RFK. Only a Hitler with or without high heels would encourage such despicable phenomena. Would the answer be any different if Hitler came back as a Black of Blackish woman? Was Hitler the great great great grandson of a West Indian Witch? How could anyone complain or argue about equality in using someone else's entire essays to graduate? As proud English descendants, there is no way this phenomena would have been accepted in 1917 and nor is it tolerated now. It makes any discussion on academic equality redundant. They may as well have put a gun to the heads of those inspired individuals. What Jamaican or What intelligent being would do that especially when you know you are equal? What West Indian would do that? Who can be "above you" or "over you" in your emotions if you do your own work? You have an equal choice.    Using the essays could not achieve equality but the converse since you said that you don`t believe in your self in using them. What Jamaican would dare say in a university or any public forum that they do not believe in themselves? This is not going forward but backward no matter how many times you shoot the writer! How many black people had to write their own essays in the year 1990 at several universities across Canada or at the same university? The endeavor is the graduation of your own soul as Grandma and Granddad demanded and not to ``go ahead`` of anyone. Your school teachers were so proud when they heard you got in. They encouraged you. Didn`t several Jamaicans and West Indians write their own essays in the year 1965 or earlier? So, writing your own essays has nothing to do with the phenomenon of social authority. Can you say you believe in the devil but you don`t believe in God? Well, at least you agree with God that there is a devil. Writing your own essays has something to do with sincere graduation, self-belief and self discovery that will be used to benefit others.

Special Presentation.

May each person who can, pair up with a member of the opposite gender if you can...that is if you can. Lord Humongous had the mind of a ten year old but the muscles and authority of a wwf wrestler up to the age of 90. He may have lost his pear. He refused to read anything and grow. But, he sought to bring everyone and the world down to his level of understanding; especially if they were Hungarian. Anyone is entitled to understand the world and maintain his personal attitude and anger toward authority at any age as he did at 10 years old but it should not devolve the symbol of peace with every breath, thereby challenging authority and everyone else's peace. The Golden calf man can do whatever he wants at home, on the job and on the street so long as he does not molest the authority that gives every one a general and lasting peace. His favorite girl friend sort of acts French and only completed grade 10 as a Queen. She doesn't want anybody to know. Her favorite show is Impossible Mission Force and they are always asking if community college graduates know anything about their authoritative underpinnings. Many of them are dead. But, they are really comfortable with high school graduates. But, there should be nothing wrong with choosing to buy a newspaper or go to community college.

The man who started the golden calf (mammon) rebellion was very nervous when Moses showed up...

So, if the issue is spiritual authority, not occupation or calling, how do you get it? How do you have it? How does anyone maintain it? Can it be lost? Is it comparative or relative to that of others? God knows and is it that you are telling everyone and are you asking them to do what you do in your personal envelope of grace from God so that you will maintain a certain degree of relative authority? What if no one joined you? Would you still have God's grace? You can't be at peace in your personal relationship if you want to kill anyone or if you want to demand that people join you in your experience with God's grace. Some people have to have sex to feed their children. Some people have to have sex with at least 8 people a month to maintain their spiritual authority or their authority as they defined it. That might be ok as a single school teacher but it could affect you as an airline ticket agent or as a pastor. Some people define authority, spiritual or otherwise, as the number of popsicle sticks they have. Did you ever wonder why John the Baptist ate honey and was essentially vegetarian but quite in authority and relational grace? What if he forced you to join him in his diet? Be gone with you and that abuse of authority. Would you still have authority? Would you still have your spiritual occupation and calling? There could be someone showing up next week at your church service who knows nothing about your personal experience with God's grace but maybe he is only watching the soap commercials for which a double souled former porn star judges people severely while she has a bible on her bed. Maybe grace involves something else like a music video circa 2013. People will judge but if you are confident that you are living in grace and authority, Yeshua and his other children could walk into your service any day of the week a you want to kill them whoever they may be or humble them. You can feel anyway you want as you judge yourself. But, why not make it quiet peace with the authority you claim which is also the authority you seek for grace. But, you can always make it obvious judging yourself.

The promise to Keturah's children.

The promise to Keturah's children in the bible is vast and mighty. It is implicit to the promise given to Abraham that he would be the father of many nations. For too many generations, the children of Keturah may have missed the blessing of their own spiritual authority while coveting needlessly the authority of others. See the Samaritan woman in John 4 and the woman who offered to eat the crumbs from the master's table. She never needed to show up for crumbs but she needed a teacher to help her access her God given answer. She already had the faith and she may have been a true child of Israel who remained in Palestine after the de-population that accompanied the Assyrian occupation. As Paul the apostle said, we are joint heirs in Christ. Abraham has soo many children. This is not to say we are all heirs of any actual throne because if you were, you would not have been fed pablum and you would not have taken the transit to work or school this morning or walked. As King of Israel in those Polemic times, Jesus demonstrated the reality of being a child of Israel and a potential heir or heir to the throne of Israel. Take advantage of the uniform commercial code as embodied in reasonable universal legislation that seems to match the ten commandments for its user friendly socio-political application in any territory to governed by the Romans. Happier people under such laws have a sense of family, property and safety. It is good for the empire and the quiet habitation under such non-tyrannical systems. But, you would have to be aware of who they had appointed as the authority in any sphere of life. They may not have had any natural levitical lineage or spirit understanding. They may not have been in the household of Israel to be the King of Judea or of Israel. So, when someone is born with a calling on His life like Paul the Apostle, they may have killed every first born child to thwart the plan of God for Paul's life. Then they raised Paul with a zealousness to kill anyone who adopted the understanding of the faith of Abraham in the culmination of the times; that is to be born again as Abraham was to a faith in the one God. Abraham was born of the spirit. Paul the apostle was born of the spirit. Jesus was literally born of the spirit. Once you accept the reality of relationship with the one God, then you are born again. This means that Noah was born again. This is also true of Moses at the burning bush. The pattern is unmistakable. With Jesus, His "born again" faith was tested before He began His public ministry. This was to see whether or not He was truly in the faith of Abraham. Abraham would not want his children to covet his dna but to understand his relationship with God. Google "...in all your getting, get understanding". There is no point in claiming as some spiritual orphan to be a child of Abraham for the authority in some argument about spiritual authority; a spiritual authority that should really be about the law and the prophets and not about your dna; as if God could not take it from a Saul and give it to someone else if he wished. Now, all are invited to break bread and practice fellowship in the covenant provided. It is the covenant first given to Abraham and brought to our attention again in the ministry of Christ. The wine and bread is the ram in the thicket. exemplifying the blood and the body of Christ. There is no longer any need for a blood sacrifice. The covenant given to Abraham as mentioned in Hebrews 6. The blood sacrifice provided by Christ is mentioned in Hebrews 9. The faith of Abraham is to be born again to the reality of the living God and the Shekinah glory. It is spiritual. It has nothing to do with your dna. As Christ and Paul the apostle taught, be born again of the spirit. If Jesus failed his test in the wilderness, the world and the Lord could have waited for Paul the apostle while Yeshua could have easily joined the Sanhedrin as one unwilling to fulfill the ministry and calling on His life. He said be born again as your father Abraham was born again. It would be better for you to agree with Yeshua and claim to be a child of the spirit. Then, there is no needless argument over the law and the prophets and the understanding of the Pikauch Nefesh where someone has to keep on saying " it is written, it is written" and someone else says " we are children or Abraham". Did you ever wonder why they did not say that they were children of Jacob or Isaac? The reason is because God started something new with Abraham for the purposes of ensuring the continual communication of His experience with mankind dating back to Noah and back to Seth. This is the faith of Abraham. It could be because Abraham was about to meet an Egyptian who had some wisdom, inspiration and authority and may be some unforgiveness but a certain acknowledgement and respect and fear for the one God. We are not actually told of Cain's descendants became Egyptians. But, it seems Abraham is in the line of Seth. See Akhenaten. Some Pharaohs many have been in the line of Seth. They certainly had a code of laws and habitation of some kind that made homes, life and families within their civilization viable and sustainable. After Solomon and David and their many concubines, everybody is a child of Abraham. Abraham was like a new Adam and certainly tested. Sara was a new Eve and also grew impatient with God's word and tried to do it her own way. They were both tested in the word of God and in their ability to trust. The result was the same; an opportunity to repent and receive restoration. There is a fair deal for everyone in the Mosaic laws that have become a uniform commercial code of sorts as sealed with the blood of Christ. As such, he is the Prince of Peace and no further wars need to be waged for such far reaching, pervasive ad ever lasting peace. The end result of any war is peace. Thomas Hobbes' writing was a rather voluminous reminder in the medieval context as to why a simple peace under one banner of common identity and salutation and submission was essential for everyone's long lasting benefit even though every man could pick up an axe and wield it. It was best that everyone resign his right to self defence to the common safety and protection provided by the united construct of peace as embodied in the emblem of peace( a sort of Christ) with the power to protect the common identity and construct from those peace breakers and offenders who may undo the balanced scales at the local market or mistreat the daffodils in the Abbey common. In other words, if anyone offends the spirit of Christ as embodied in the emblem and its tentacular systems and workings, they are to be dealt with accordingly as the peace is quite clear and legislated. It is written. It is written. So, here we are in peace.
Aristotle is a popular historical figure. However it is a less well known historical fact that Aristotle Onassis converted to Judaism near the beginning of his life. This is interesting and a new article will be written exploring this history. Converting at 14 was very convenient.

If you have a belief in Yeshua, then you believe in the antithesis; Lucifer. There is nothing wrong with wanting a good Santa Claus instead of an evil Santa Claus who gives you led toys. There is nothing wrong with desiring a balanced home environment that reflects the spirit of Christ; feeling much like the good Santa. The tendency of our souls is to find fault in our own homes no matter how hard our parents work to ensure a nurturing home environment that is free from abuse and abusive language. But, Lucifer spoils, uses and does not forgive. In not forgiving, you reproduce the abuse you suffered. You call it culture but you remember your sadness. What would Lucifer do? What would Jesus do? Do you have any recollection of how you wished your parents would communicate? Do you want a Santa Claus that feels like Lucifer.

For many, Yeshua(Jesus)  is the messiah. The story of Yeshua born to Mary and raised dutifully by Joseph and Mary as His parents is too good that anyone should make it up. Yeshua is the Messiah.

A new documentary is being released very soon about the phenomena of alumni murders.

A new documentary is being released very soon about the phenomena of alumni murders based on the noble notion of wanting to verify whether an old school friend is the individual who showed up at the 15th anniversary school reunion or on facebook.  When someone is killed and there is evidence of a deliberate plan, it is an offence and is also the subject of the documentary.  The best way to verify whether that individual is your school friend is to simply call them on the phone and invite them for a cup of tea.

Translations...

"Ok" is translated to "A gay" or "go gay" if there is a loud tv in the area or if you are listening through a door, window or a ceiling.
"I see" is translated to " a C" if there is a loud tv in the area or if you are listening through a door, window or a ceiling.
"Thanks" is translated to "Bics", "Becks" or "Thinks" if there is a loud tv in the area or if you are listening through a door, window or a ceiling.

The best thing to say if you are acknowledging that you are listening to someone is to say " hmm" and nod affirmatively if there is a loud tv in the area or if you are listening through a door, window or a ceiling.

Precursor To An Inquisition When Everyone Is Adopted. The crucifixion of the law and the prophets of the year 1240 due to a misunderstanding of the authority.

Before Constantine adopted the faith of Christ that is, in fact, the faith of Moses and of Abraham, there were synagogues throughout the Roman empire. Many citizens of the empire or individuals within other systems elsewhere in the world, were familiar with the Jewish laws and customs and would readily call to Rabbi for advice.  Roman soldiers would do this quite often and it is evident that they called upon Yeshua as a Rabbi. A Rabbi's social and religious authority on these questions as based on the Talmud and Torah was of no doubt and all the citizens of the empire lived in peace with Rabbis doing their job with respect to the Talmud and religious teaching. Jesus or Yeshua is accepted here as the Messiah. But, what happens if everyone adopts and is adopted into the faith of Abraham by virtue of their acceptance of the new Christian faith under Constantine?  Whether you have a Torah or Talmud at home, you can't say Jesus walked on the water without saying Moses walked through it. You are an implicit believer in the faith of Abraham and of the Jewish people if you say you accept Christ. So, who could be offended by the Talmud if you are a Christian in the year 1240? I don't really know but apparently, this is a matter of actual history.  It could be that if everyone is adopted into the faith or is channeled into it to remain current and acceptable in the new paths of the emperor, then there could be some individuals who may stop and think about how they feel in the presence of individuals who have more than oral teachings about the law and the prophets. But, the law and the prophets is what Jesus(Yeshua) represented.  It was not customary for the adherents of the faith other than priests to have access to a talmud, torah or the letters of the early Christians that now comprise the new testament. So, one might say that he is now under the law and the prophets but not able to understand it or to access it, so he is intellectually and socially unequal to the people who do have access to it. But, it is simple enough for a child to understand. It is devotion and trust. There will be individuals who wish to rob the innocent of their innocence. It is best for the innocent to stay innocent and never join them in abuse that does not fit wholesome discipline but contradicts it. There is an evident difference as in refusing to tell children to do their home work. The Jews are the bigger brothers in the faith if everyone is adopted. Recognizing Christ as the Jewish Messiah does not change the law and the prophets or the opportunity for grace under the law. There are new additions based on faith for the gentiles only such as the consumption of different foods. But, it was not an instruction to Peter to kill and eat, doing anything wanted and thereby abandon the law and nor was it an instruction to abandon the law concerning food but not to reject the gentiles as unclean but to offer them the ministry of salvation in sharing the faith of Abraham as Jesus taught it; that is to teach the faith in a way that is inclusive of the Pikuach Nefesh. See Romans 9, 10 and 11. See also Hebrews 7 and 8. They benefit if people understand since there is more salt and light in society and the human beings need the bread of the word since man cannot live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.   They do not have to talk but, there is an obvious spiritual deficit in the medieval Christian's life who is following Yeshua as a symbol of the right answer (the pikuach nefesh) in the law and the prophets but who does not have access to it.  The Talmud could not cause anyone and certainly no Christian any offence except that if he does not have any access to it and its blessing in the year 1240 although Yeshua certainly did and represented its peace accordingly. A Catholic Church official was not likely to show public offence at the existence and teaching of the talmud but possibly a disgruntled peripheral member of the Jewish community who may not have had sufficient Jewish ancestry for the year 1240 without a Jewish mother may have decided to adopt Christianity whole heartedly but did not wish to feel less respect than anyone else in society who would have a superior understanding and access to knowledge to teach a Christian about the faith the Christian is following. But, if anyone was genuinely concerned about understanding and access to the Talmud to end any sense of offence, he would have asked for a translation  that he could read in private if he was capable of reading. Maybe he would commission a translation or take time to translate it.   As the story goes, A Christian individual in France in the year 1240 expressed his concern with the Talmud and how it cause  A Christian individual in Christian society offence. Louis the 9th was King and he apparently approved the destruction of several Talmuds in the name of Christendom at the time and  a wagon full of Talmuds were collected and burned with the knowledge and authorization of the Pope.  These would have been historical treasures as art work in the valuation of the Vatican so they may not have been burned but a wagon full of rolls of paper that looked like the Talmud may have been burned as a demonstration.  Those who attempted to defend the Talmud and Jewish faith had to leave France and go to the Holy lands ironically around the time of the crusades where they could find an abandoned estate and leave peaceably in lands.  But to prove and say what exactly in the end when Yeshua or Jesus( the Messiah)  was a teacher of and an embodiment of the law and the prophets.  As a Messiah, is he not also a prophet but different from others in that He is the messiah when He actually rose from the grave with the assistance of 100's of pounds of spices that were wrapped around his body, healing him so that he could get up again in a cool and dry cave in three days?  There is no evidence that He actually stopped breathing. Is there any such evidence? This is so although we say He did die on the cross and He was certainly wounded for our transgressions. In any event, wounds and near death experiences after the heart stops are often reported these days. It sometimes to new borns after being pronounced dead.    The heart stops but after ten minutes, they breathe again.   It seems that anyone who was offended by the Talmud but who wanted to claim identity and association as a Christian had only one particular kind of inspiration.  The motive or inspiration was not understanding but authority, social position and anger.  Paul the Apostle's approach was love for his people. See Romans 10.   But, Paul already had the understanding and Yeshua opened his understanding further when he asked Paul, "...why are you persecuting Me?"  Wasn't Yeshua the law and the prophets?  Apparently, the Talmud was not to be taught any longer in France after that incident in 1240 and it would take Martin Luther's arrival 300 years later to bring the scriptures to the people: Scriptures that includes the law and the prophets.
