Family dinner: Parents cannot presume the right to bring people into the world and to take them out of the world as if that is the only way to demonstrate parental identity.

Family dinner: Parents cannot presume the right to bring people into the world and to take them out of the world as if that is the only way to demonstrate parental identity.  A community that enables this presumption is a curiosity.      Miles Davis' father was a dentist and Miles did quite well as an international recording artist. We could tell ethnic minority students that we need more Doctors, Engineers and Lawyers. We probably do since many professionals in ethnic minority communities are killed by parents who suffer with ancestral and generational authority issues.  Civil rights was half the answer when the complete answer involves families that will support and celebrate  their generations who produced in faith to honor their ancestors and certainly their parents instead of parents sabotaging and seeking attention for redress of past generational victimization.
