If all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and if it is by grace that all men are saved and not by works, is there any work for God that requires a vow of celibacy? With many workers, the labor is well distributed among many and the laborers have the opportunity to enjoy family in their personal lives as they serve the Lord.   Was there a celibate apostle? Elizabeth and Zacharias, a priest, served the Lord.  Grace did not diminish after the resurrection and celibacy is not required to serve the Lord but there are those for whom it is natural according to Matthew 19. God does not tell you to deny marriage to serve him whole heartedly.   May there be gentleness with diligence in the Lord and the word. As a symbol of grace, we attend service on Sunday but grace does not mean we have less grace under the law when it comes to serving the Lord. There is nothing in the law and prophets embodied by Christ that requires celibacy to serve the Lord whole heartedly. in the
