It is rumored that the Gospel of Thomas was written by Hitler.  There is little talk about the text in comparison to that of the other books and how it does not fit either the old testament or the new but the answer is obvious if there is any regenerate sincerity within you.    In any case, it's a mystery as to whether or not there was a shortage in the transmission of the immutable values in our Judeo-Christian culture. There is a lot of talk about post-modernism as a movement away from traditional structures of authority and values and this included the notion of the nuclear family, the bible, the church and church schools. Postmodernism is many things inclusive of the changes in life, culture and communications as caused by changes in technology. It is also the celebration of old and new forms of architecture. It is the celebration of civilization. Postmodernism is not in odds with feminism. There is nothing wrong with gender equality.  Postmodernism is a celebration of civilization as such.   It is not a movement to do away with traditional structures of authority and values. Postmodernism seeks a mosaic of artistic and architectural forms, values and cultures across the spectrum of generations and genres over time. Postmodernism is the celebration of globalism and timelessness of civilization. It is not about the doing away with the values and traditions that feed the post modern ethic.  It is not nihilism but celebration, honor and maintenance of culture and civilization. A positive birth rate or positive population growth is key to economies. As such, the family is an essential building block of economies and societies.  It is not a variable in any social movement. Postmodernism is not a social movement.
