Why are we arguing about the obvious?

You really can't complete an intricate recipe to perfection based on intuition alone especially if you never want to cooking school.  You need to read and follow the recipe the basic elements of the recipe; nor can you complete successfully an English exam with a grade above C or  B+  based on a Grade 10 syllabus or a Grade 12 syllabus if you are only using intuition.  If you read the requisite materials by coincidence, then you might pass based on the coincidence that your general knowledge was commensurate coincidentally to pass the exam.  In the same vein, you cannot complete a first year university English exam based on intuition alone.  Why are we arguing about the obvious?
