Leviathan( the state) and Parens Patriae

It could be that various models of democracy, based on the notion of a social contract( see Rousseau), are a great virtue and possibly one of the world's greatest weaknesses. What if the Lord of the Flies becomes elected and just hates old ladies just for being old? What if he cannot understand a simple equation to solve for x although he can use an android phone?  That might not be good for your grandma who took such good care of you as a young-en.  It may justify the Leviathan, although created by the vote of the majority, putting into place certain  safeguards to ensure there is no elder abuse. Without a doubt, it should be a crime and any law protecting the old should not be repealed or made defunct tacitly due to non-enforcement. The Leviathan uses the notion of parens patriae to educate the young and protect them from misled adults that do not appreciate the purpose of a liberal Judeo-Christian Democracy or why God gave them children.  The doctrine of Parens Patriae should only be used to safeguard the social contract and all of the expectations contained therein. An example of such a social contract is any constitution or document similar to the magna carta. The Ten commandments are a blue print for all such social contracts.
