So, the whole point of Paradise Lost is that some young woman in 1975 but born in Jamaica in 1973 and raised in Brooklyn says that her father touched  her up and made her his second wife.  She seemed to have sought a father figure for a very long time although, unlike most other women in the area, she knew who her father was. He was at the breakfast table and the cupboards were full of nice things; nice foods and they always had nice clothes and flaunted it in front of the more 10th generation American black girls who must have had some nice clothes as well and maybe more copies of WEB Dubois behind that old jazz piano.  So, she wanted to be stripper all of her life and said she needed attention, had sex with a number of churchy people and some of her friend's fathers so went it came time to be a stripper or to finally give it a shot, she decided to be a Christian.  So, then God sent someone to her to be a husband and father of a child and she went on with one question. How can you keep yourself out of paradise but have soo many answers to your prayers? Well, paradise could be regained but the only way to do it is to forgive.  She seems to have complained about her father and nothing else. She complained about the father of her child. She said the entire world had an issue. She must not have read the sermon about the women or woman with the issue of blood.  Her issue is that her paradise was lost at a very early age and who can argue with the way in which female hearts and mind were constructed. It's just that it happened more than once in that it happened once a month since she was three years old and also with her brother the music teacher after Veblen was 10 years old. So, what she needed to do if forgiveness did not help initially is to just get the touch of the Lord like the woman with the issue of blood and go to the Lord in her quiet times every day and after the once a month with her husband to whom she was a second wife; she she said. Thank God for her testimonies!
