So, we need more than anti-spy ware. We need policing that prevents and thwarts the abuse of technology.

So, we need more than anti-spy ware. We need policing that prevents and thwarts the abuse of technology.  This requires a skilled gendarmie that will understand the scintilla of the offense and the heart of the crime.  We have to be on to them.   One basic module in simple computer science and programming that satisfied a grade 10 syllabus from 1986 should do in addition to a basic course on mobile phone systems so that the copper will not tell the citizen in the Brit Milah that he is imagining something.  There is evidence.

Offences may involved interception of communications for unlawful purposes.  This is distinguished from a phone tap that seems to be allowed so long as one purpose knows the recording is taking place. However, it could still be an invasion of privacy and a trespass offence if there is no lawful purpose.  A private citizen is not allowed to engage in permanent abuses of privacy involving other members of the public although it may have seemed that there was an exception in the law.  Such an exception as misunderstood would allow a private citizen to become his own little J. Edgar Hoover outfit and it could damage the lives of family with children who wish to have the kids travel alone on summer holiday. Watch the movie Taken(2009).  Also offense will involve the theft of or the tampering with computer data.  There are several offenses that are being overlooked and that threaten the lives of families and business growth.  It is just not safe to transact business in the Brit Milah as seen in certain outskirts.
