When King Saul turned the throne into a chattel, he became apostate and interested in the authority; not worship, not service or the Ark of the Covenant.

When King Saul turned the throne into a chattel, he became apostate and interested in the authority; not worship, not service or the Ark of the Covenant.   He thought he owned the throne. It belonged to the people of Israel to serve the purposes of the people in the same way that the sabbath is to serve the purposes of man.  Man does not serve the Sabbath in the Pikuach Nefesh (Hebrew).    He did not hear.   He also decided to say he would be the only one. He said " I am the only one; only one." He never gave the throne to his son or anyone else. David did. Solomon did. Three or more families in Israel held the throne of ancient Israel. Jeroboam in Ephraim seems to have held it the longest in spite of the divided house. The house of Israel was not only divided, they fought each other.  A divided house is a divided house. It is not united.    David in Judah held it for three generations.  Saul in Benjamin held it for one generation; his own.  He decided that he would die before giving it to his son. He only had one son.   He also decided to chase anyone who he thought might be able to read the bible verse concerning and the promised land and believe it.  Do you anyone like this who thinks breath or solving a trigonometric equation or writing a bible verse is his right and his honor only but he is not a king anywhere in the world?   He is the devil.  He chases you as a former classmate or as a football coach who says you should not work soo hard.   This apostate King Saul dna was found in Israel and in Egypt by Napolean. He wanted to see the living personality of this dna and introduced to certain populations in the West Indies and North Africa.   He has seen the personality by now.

Rehoboam Reigns in Judah

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Kings+14&version=ESV

21 Now Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city that the Lord had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. His mother's name was Naamah the Ammonite. 22 And Judah did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins that they committed, more than all that their fathers had done. 23 For they also built for themselves high places and pillars and Asherim on every high hill and under every green tree, 24 and there were also male cult prostitutes in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nations that the Lord drove out before the people of Israel.
25 In the fifth year of King Rehoboam, Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem. 26 He took away the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king's house. He took away everything. He also took away all the shields of gold that Solomon had made, 27 and King Rehoboam made in their place shields of bronze, and committed them to the hands of the officers of the guard, who kept the door of the king's house. 28 And as often as the king went into the house of the Lord, the guard carried them and brought them back to the guardroom.
29 Now the rest of the acts of Rehoboam and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? 30 And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually. 31 And Rehoboam slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. His mother's name was Naamah the Ammonite. And Abijam his son reigned in his place.

Abijam Reigns in Judah

15 Now in the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam the son of Nebat, Abijam began to reign over Judah. He reigned for three years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Maacah the daughter of Abishalom. And he walked in all the sins that his father did before him, and his heart was not wholly true to the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father. Nevertheless, for David's sake the Lord his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem, setting up his son after him, and establishing Jerusalem, because David did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and did not turn aside from anything that he commanded him all the days of his life, except in the matter of Uriah the Hittite. Now there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life. The rest of the acts of Abijam and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam. And Abijam slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David. And Asa his son reigned in his place.
