We believe what we believe because it is not as if your soul, when your body is dead, will be able to perceive the pain of flames on the bottom of your foot.

We believe what we believe because it is not as if your soul, when your body is dead, will be able to perceive the pain of flames on the bottom of your foot.  Your body is dead.  What can your soul perceive>  If it is perceiving anything, then it is a perception of a continual night mare or the perception of the continual heavenly bliss.  You may believe in your perception that your wife and children that survive you are doing well and are not suffering in physical harm or any harm of any kind.    The only true physical perception of suffering is on earth where you feel pain and comfort, warmth or its absence and that is why we believe what we believe to avoid human suffering; that there can be hot and cold water for everyone, that we should treat our neighbor with dignity as we wish to be treated or we treat our fellow motorist as we wish to be treated.  The absence of this belief is the suffering and conflict.  This is why people refer to hell on earth or that war is hell.  It is simply because the Lord in which you believe has no other place in this universe for you to enjoy oxygen. This is why you bless your children. This is why I bless my children.   Even if there is another place, you will never find it to enjoy it on mass if you kill the only planet where this human creation can find enough peace; the peace that is achieved in  mutual cooperation to contemplate overcoming the impediment of gravity or efficient, sustainable propulsion since fuel is very heavy. The Galileo probe is evident of what we can do and we also have sufficient oxygen with air filtration. We have space stations of varying size and sophistication.  This planet needs rules for commodious living that approximate the dynamics of safety for traffic on the road and safety on a space station. The rules are not designed for personal power or aggrandizement as if only orphans have the right to do whatever they want. But, rules that remind us of the fact that we are all children of God. What inspired the tenets in the Magna Carta? Why did any King decide to write it? Why did Jesus not only claim his own position as a son of God and then also invite others to join him in accept this identity?  See Psalms 82.   It is also the quiet message of Abraham as a caretaker and steward of the people's  trust. He petitioned the Dios to save Lot when he was threatened in Gomorrah.   The human being and the consumer is the final denominator.    We believe in a King of Peace because it i what you need where your entire being, physical and spiritual, in his mercy creative mercy can enjoy perceive it and enjoy it.There is not a lot of point in believing in God for the day you may die.  Your body is dead but certainly if you do believe the right thing, you will have blissful dreams in the end of your consciousness forever.  Are you having arguments about spiritual authority in a million denominations for the day you may die? Are you trying to assimilate people to your denomination? Are you saving a life? why don't you save a life so that they will be...hmm....eternally grateful?

Thank you!
