Any true child of David such as Yeshua and Solomon is a child of Israel. They do not insist on being a child of David. See Psalms 82. They insist on being understood as a child of Israel or as a child of God. Anyone who insists on being referred to as a child of David or who thinks of himself in these terms is a Mephibosheth; a child of Jonathan and Saul.
