Solomon, son of Israel, Judah and David was asked once to decide between two angry mothers as to who was the actual mother of a child. Only one was sufficiently human and compassionate enough to let the child live as God created him instead of cutting the child in half; ending the life. It has nothing to do with dna but love and being sufficiently healthy psychologically. If both mothers were missing a few human fundamentals even if one of them was the birth parent, Solomon would have had to say neither was the actual mother. His test had nothing to do with dna. It had to do with love and a human individual's health. Neanderthal mothers, in spite of dna, would have saved the child's life and would have cried to save him.
