It could be that Keturah people struggle to see themselves as accepted in the promise and the prophets such as Micah may have died because of this acceptance and identity self inflicted centrifuge. Jesus came immaculately do that it could be understood finally that Abraham was a child by the Spirit. Jesus was a child and born by the Spirit. We are to be born of the spirit like Abraham; that is be born again like Abraham of God's spirit. To confess Christ is to confess the faith of Abraham.
To confess Christ is to confess the faith of Abraham. Jesus did say the Lord's prayer before He taught it. He did not confess a new religion in anyone called Jesus or Yeshua (there may be additions to suggest something else) but He did identify himself as an embodiment of the faith of Abraham and a fulfillment of the law and the prophets as the promised Messiah when He said ".. I am the way the truth and the life. No man come to the father but by me." But, this is not a new faith or religion. Jesus was born as a Jew and rose again as a Jew. This is the faith of Abraham and the only books from which Jesus taught included the law and the prophets( the old testament). He did not say " read my book."   He said  "..Is it not written in Psalms 82...etc?" He had to have believed He was the Messiah or else he would have run away when he saw Judas and perceived what was in him near the time of pass over. He came primarily for the Jews and the Jewish people. That entails the children of Jacob (the nation of Israel) who are also, as a matter of fact, children of Abraham. But, He welcomed the gentiles as a fulfillment of the promises concerning the outpouring of ministry about them and the promise to the many children of Abraham that number as the many sands on the sea shore. It should have been totally unremarkable and of no issue with no argument that He sought to help people on the Sabbath. Does this disclose the fact that the Sanhedrin and Pharisees may have been foreign to the Jewish faith and culture as foreigners( new comers) as people who were put in to support the foreign rulers? The Sanhedrin claimed authority as children of Abraham but the
Lord Yeshua did answer those who identified themselves this way in their attempt at authoritative defence and indicated that Jehovah could create many new children of Abraham by his creative power using the very Stones on the ground. Claiming to be a child of Abraham is not the source. See Psalms 82. This is the faith of Abraham. This is because Abraham became a child of God by relational faith in a living God and reliance on the Shekinah glory.
