The man who started the golden calf (mammon) rebellion was very nervous when Moses showed up...

So, if the issue is spiritual authority, not occupation or calling, how do you get it? How do you have it? How does anyone maintain it? Can it be lost? Is it comparative or relative to that of others? God knows and is it that you are telling everyone and are you asking them to do what you do in your personal envelope of grace from God so that you will maintain a certain degree of relative authority? What if no one joined you? Would you still have God's grace? You can't be at peace in your personal relationship if you want to kill anyone or if you want to demand that people join you in your experience with God's grace. Some people have to have sex to feed their children. Some people have to have sex with at least 8 people a month to maintain their spiritual authority or their authority as they defined it. That might be ok as a single school teacher but it could affect you as an airline ticket agent or as a pastor. Some people define authority, spiritual or otherwise, as the number of popsicle sticks they have. Did you ever wonder why John the Baptist ate honey and was essentially vegetarian but quite in authority and relational grace? What if he forced you to join him in his diet? Be gone with you and that abuse of authority. Would you still have authority? Would you still have your spiritual occupation and calling? There could be someone showing up next week at your church service who knows nothing about your personal experience with God's grace but maybe he is only watching the soap commercials for which a double souled former porn star judges people severely while she has a bible on her bed. Maybe grace involves something else like a music video circa 2013. People will judge but if you are confident that you are living in grace and authority, Yeshua and his other children could walk into your service any day of the week a you want to kill them whoever they may be or humble them. You can feel anyway you want as you judge yourself. But, why not make it quiet peace with the authority you claim which is also the authority you seek for grace. But, you can always make it obvious judging yourself.
