The New Staff member said he would be the most powerful President in history. He meant to say "powerful Principal" in a school since employees in a public service environment are not interested in power but service. He must have misspoke when he said President. It's a service role in a government corporation. It might be okay to say you are the most powerful baker in a kitchen and bakery that is owned personally. Power is synonymous with the denial of the quest for the same as a public employee.
