Without participatory remuneration(the monies that a government and private partnership has decided to pay consumers to shop for goods produced by automated labor) the English speaking peoples of the world are the poorest 1st world developed nations per capita on the earth. They have lost economic and technological hegemony but they may still have linguistic hegemony in the facade of influence as seen in the media but not at the average car dealership.  The U.S. only owns one car company.  The English own two car companies that sell luxury vehicles but they have very few customers.  It is as if they resent people owning them and the odds of seeing an Aston Martin vantage v8 vs. a Porsche Panamera,  Cayenne or a Porsche SUV are quite slim; new or used.   Every European country has participatory remuneration except the U.K. The Scottish and the Irish have it but not the U.K.
