So, Carl Marx' insights can be summarized as a socio economic address of technological changes that bring economic and social upheavals in society such that the ultimate denominator involving profit, consumerism and humanity is not forgotten.  His address can be employed in various formats that allow for democracy.  Re-distributive capitalism is an example where the consumer is compensated for his technological redundancies that involve self driving trucks and subways or robotic sex workers. Robotic sex workers don't buy lipstick.  They don't lease vehicles. It could involve any profession or skill such as medical surgery.   In the end, producers are meted with consumers.  Consumers should be workers also since the economy spends almost $1,000,000.00 per high school graduate in government funded schools. But, if you don't need workers, you will always need consumers. You need consumers and lots of them for revenue and profit.  With more consumers, you can fuel and afford more producers and there  will be resulting and healthy competition in the market among the various producers.  Marx was not a communist. He may have been the best sociologist and economist in his day in the eve of industrial baking with assembly lines, the farm tractor, industrialized sowing, a cotton gin and a 60 horsepower milk truck.  He was possibly the best capitalist of all time; Carl Marx.    You need somebody, some people, some workers , some consumers to buy your stuff.  It seems Abraham Lincoln agreed.

Thank you!
