Did you ever notice that in those elephant wild life protection videos that you do not see burning elephant cadavers? You see burning tusks.  It is rumored that the real goal of poachers is the rich elephant flesh that is like a beef in many Asian countries and is used for stir fries.  The elephant blood platelets are rich in oxygen and this makes for a "beef" that has a rejuvenating quality.  It is very expensive.  But, coming soon, a pharmaceutical company  has discovered a way to turn this oxygen, energy rich and rejuvenating elephant blood into a compound that can be reproduced in mass quantities.  Elephant meat sells as steaks for $500.00.  But,  elephant blood could be extracted from a living elephant that is cultivated and reared in elephant farms instead of having elephants poached and killed in the wild or in game reserves illegally.  The  dried blood could be turned into a compound and sold in capsule form.  One capsule in a bottle  of 25 capsules for $10.00 would have the same potency as a $ 500.00 elephant steak.   Raising elephants like cattle is a very lucrative proposition all over Africa, North America and other parts of the world that have the appropriate climate.  You could raise them not only for their blood but also for their meat.  Cultivating elephants would also forestall the notion of elephant extinction. It is just an evil nonsense to suggest anything like it in light of human ingenuity.
