That American Politician's Speech at the Golf Club.

An American Politician from several generations ago had a dream. He dreamed of a new order for the world with the rule of law. He said as follows with the assistance of a speech writer while campaigning to be President of his golf club: I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our various communities, our golf club, nation and every human on the planet. Mars is not a human alternative for human civilization. We need to respect and conserve creation with the use of International courts for such purpose. Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Human Equality and Ecological Conservation Proclamation. It involved the rule of law in a new order. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Humans who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. Napalm, Incendiary bombs and Nuclear weapons bring great devastation. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their horrid and injurious captivity. But one hundred years later, the Human still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Human is still sadly crippled by the manacles of insufficient social and economic equity while certain communities create cultural barriers in the larger and open market place that hamper greater prosperity for all. It is difficult for a visible minority to obtain a license to operate a coffee franchise in Boston; the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Human lives on a lonely island of experiential impoverishment in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. But, All-Inclusive(1,2, 3 and 4 star) vacation packages to diverse parts of the world will certainly help. One hundred years later, the Human is still languishing in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. They do not make Zenith televisions any longer with tremendous chagrin. In this economic tumult with respect to domestic job creation and economic productivity, we have come here today to dramatise a shameful condition that involves the loss of several secure American brand names and the advent of the robotic employee who does not buy coffee or Ford Cortinas/Mondeos or Puma. It does not apply for marriage licences. Apple helps somewhat. Although, it did not make any sense as to why American brands such as RCA did not build a universal dock that was useful with their own mp3 players in addition to the I-Pod and other Apple devices. In a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a cheque (Oui c’est vrai!). The American democratic experience was inspired by Rousseau and others. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, that is all humans, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty, health and property. To say "happiness" is too combative and less communal and wickedly atomising. Democracy is an experiment in the management of any state's human and economic resources. This includes our Muslim citizens who may wish to wear a Hijab as an employee at the Wonder Bread factory or to the local hospital as a full-time doctor or nurse. After so many milenniums, without a doubt, with significant movements of people many children of Ishmael and Isaac speak Russian and Chinese as practicing Jews and Christians. They may also have family living in Missouri near the local Chinese Fast-Food Take Out. They are children of Abraham. It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned thereby defaulting on this promissory note for all citizens since the injury to one citizen is an injury to all. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Human a bad check, a check which has come back marked "I am trying to remember how we spent time together as school chums or university graduates in the Sushi and Taco place or down by the riverside. I’ll remember once you have more Ethan Allen furniture or utensils regardless of your ethnicity; Ikea too!" But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. So we have come to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice. We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of now and the decommodification of intimate human interaction. It affects good decision making when employing delivery drivers for pharmacies including Boots and Walgreens. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilising food additive of gradualism when some anachronistic computer is programmed to have every citizen think “…One day” with respect to these fundamental economic issues while also owning 400 pairs of Prada shoes. It is an anachronistic computer that loves shoes and wants you to agree. This is the democracy of an obsessive and compulsive shopper that claims a national debt every 4-8 years with no significant change in the experiment of democracy. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Democracy is an experiment domestically with the rule of law on a domestic and international front; but not facade. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation domestically and internationally to the sunlit path of human justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quick sands of human injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children. It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the human’s legitimate discontent in the Human, if not Arab Spring, will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three was not an end, but a beginning. Kennedy found a new role as an image of continual inspiration for the entire human community. Some people think his brain is alive and is being protected by a computer called Echelon as seen in Bourne Supremacy as its husband but this is beyond our democratic expectations. I am only a Golf club member and simply read articles in the news about these fantastic machines such as Echelon that confirm humans can design anything that is profitable and that also helps to conserve creation; but highly profitably. This is the faith of Abraham. The Voyager Space probe was launched in the 70's and still has enough fuel for space exploration until 2025. It is now exploring beyond our solar system. Our culture digests a character called Kirk in a show called Star Trek who had intimate relations with aliens and his girlfriend, Captain Uhuru, gave birth to a quarter-black child who looks like she is from Provence. Those who hope that the Human needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. There will be neither rest nor tranquillity in America until the Human is granted his rights to a safe and secure community with universal health care. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of human justice emerges. But there is something that I must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force. The marvellous new militancy which has engulfed the Human community must not lead us to a distrust of all peoples with video cameras in our wedding rings and prescription Marc Ecko sunglasses and our personal paranoia as our only friend, for many of our human brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. They have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom. We cannot walk alone whether we have google glasses on or not. This is about the rule of law and a prevention of technological abuses that may prevent the safeguarding of our experimental democratic institutions. As we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead. We cannot turn back. There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "When will you be satisfied?" We can never be satisfied as long as the Human is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of technological if not police brutality. Many citizens are being videoed every night as they engage in acts of physical self-flagellation. This neutralises citizens' moral authority. Only a whip of excited frenzy on national news sitcoms such as CUNN (not broadcasts) is relied on to make decisions that do not accord with the rule of law. We can never be satisfied, as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain actual lodging in our imaginations and expectations of an enlightened democracy. Universal Health Care and a Uniform criminal code as exemplified by a full program of international law with courts would help this New habit of order. I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed. Let us not wallow in the valley of despair. This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with a new meaning, "My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring." And if America is to be a great nation where everybody in the entire world has a third cousin this must become true. So let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania! Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado! Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California! But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia! Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee! Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi. From every mountainside, let freedom ring.
