So, we have come to understand the "footstool" culture of the West Indies. It's been only three generations. All you think about is that you will be the only floor supervisor in the family as a company employee in spite of all the education your children and grand children may have.Didn't you used to catch bugs and eat them as a kid where you come from since the mangos were for the whitee?

So, we have come to understand the "footstool" culture of the West Indies. Anyone who practices it is a determined slave descendant who will not let go of bondage and it only works to achieve some form of family dismemberment and dislocation, a loss of opportunities and potential achievements. Usually, the families who practice this "footstool" culture end up with few weddings, a lot of divorce and all of the family property, if any, ends up in the possession of the government almost invariably. With bibles and prayers, most families have bargained for more than this so flee the vestiges of slavery and bondage.
