The point of education is preparation for work. It is also preparation for purpose in life above and beyond consumption.

After saving the worker, you respect the fact that the final scenario of man's ingenuity is to make production devoid of human involvement except for the robotic programmer and quality control.  That amounts to two manufacturing employees in the most limited scenario for a production line that might be able to output 10000's of units per hour. So, you will need more consumers for your products other than two employees.  You need consumers domestically and internationally.  Your energy company needs consumers also and so does the vehicle manufacturer although( hello IBM! Remember that we need brokers of ingenuity and not pirates of ingenuity. You must be the loving broker) you don't really need workers or cashiers since everything can be automated. As such, you will need to subsidize consumption and possibly hire two or three employees for every robot brought to the assembly line and manufacturing process since. without consumers, you will never earn any money in spite of the efficiency savings since machines do not buy milk, cigarettes, pay interest and buy fuel. Even if there is no work in the economy for the most important variable( the consumer), you need the consumer to consume. The citizen is understood more importantly as a consumer first.  The point of work is to earn to consume. The point of production is to provide goods for consumption. The point of technology and robots is to improve quality; not to kill or remove the consumer.  The point of education is preparation for work. It is also preparation for purpose in life above and beyond consumption. When work is no longer required due to technology's role in economic production, men may become violent in listlessness if there is insufficient education to enable creativity, direction or insight in seeing ones abilities to find and have purpose outside of the more obvious, purposive role of raising another generation in perpetuating, in testimony. your family and family's ancestral culture on this earth.  What does race have to do with this? Nothing. It is a fiction and one perpetuated in the hangover of an unfortunate industrial era that required a great deal of human labor to fuel the realities of new market demands for sugars and cottons.  Locke did not deny the legal and obvious humanness of the African but, as prisoners of war, it was argued that in the Brit Milah, it was acceptable to trade and sell such individuals with the purposes of utilizing them as labor; not entirely free of course since it cost to ship them, house them and feed them.  The issue after abolition was to find a justification for privilege and deference  and status to maintain certain expectations and decorum somewhat ingrained in society as the world emerged out of the milieu of agrarian economics that was dependent on cheap human labor.  The justification was subtle and not directly based on the writings of Darwin; a Christian but it was suggested by some who would call a highly educated Black American preacher with West Indian background like Martin Luther King a monkey. How is he a monkey? He wrote poetry and could do lots of neat, cool things like play basketball and write many brilliant and emotive books. He could also bake a cake and preach rousing sermons with diligent exegesis. It is rumored that he travelled to outer space from Kennedy Canaveral on a rocket with Alan Shepard secretly but I don't really know; could be though; eh?   Today, racism seems to be perpetuated mostly by those non-black individuals who have an innate taste for coconut or physical evidence of their African, possible Slavic origins.  Unfortunately, if you are from the West Indies or the American African dna or the black skin in complexion is always presumptively slavic dna.  Africans make this presumption when meeting anyone with a North American accent if they just arrived. White people do it. Black people do it. But, history tells us that some black people arrived from Europe early in the colonies; not as African slaves. Some arrived in the West Indies from the American colonies as evidenced  certainly in some cases in 1773 but not as slaves. I like coconuts but I don't share, emotionally or otherwise, any fear of shame of the history of slavery or shame in black identity as being presumptively associated with slavery. There are too many answers for my family's presence in this part of the world as primarily English only speaking people. Why should I identify with slavery although that ancestry is possibility. Some ran to the hills( I know you hate this) as soon as the boats landed in Nevis and they told you in the 20th and 21st century emerging as white African, very secretive and fearful people that  they(we) don't need your education like Pink Floyd said. They are always familial to black people since they cannot deny themselves but must be very anxious that someone might notice their innate, natural feelings and so they, as a minority in a coconut loving minority must choose an unnecessary survival tactic and betray that familiarity. It is very polite though but evidently very awful that a Ph.D with West Indian background is being told he cannot get a job because he is not willing to have sex or does not feel like he sucks it.  This becomes embarrassing because you just hired an African from Africa or an Indian and he used a photocopy for proof of his credentials. He does not suck it because he says he has children but the West Indian will have to suck whether he has children or not. So what the !@#$# Who went to Father Mcelroy High School and sat beside you? Who is carrying your shared Montezuma, Arawak native dna as a descendant of West Indians? You are white and he is a bit more tanned in complexion? His last name is Bolt maybe or Johnson. What if those happy, scantily clad indigenous , mango and coconut eating people in Africa in the 15th and 16th century were white with hair like a Rock Star from the show Gilligan's Island? This is what you do every day as to whether someone eloped or had a wedding or whether you are a Northey, West- end or Jordie.  I choose Penzance but the economic and racial hangover should be over now. They do pay those workers in China and they buy lots of Hersheys Dark Dark Dark Chocolate; dark! So, who will you run to to share that empty space? Then you bring many over here to do the same thing; work! So, where is the native American or the native in the Western hemisphere who can obviously work!  I be alright sir if you be saying I be only lifting boxes at $40,000.00 so you can get all the glory in de dentist clinic without any educations since dis is what you want for de image and de social autority.  But you gots to do somthin with these workers you be raisin and preparin as immigrant children from Uganda and de Bahamas and all dat.  Maybe you be understandin how stupid dis hangover is if its about privilege and den you don't want to be learning anything since you don't think you should need to since you be right complexion in your mind(the joke is over. The bridge is over) for the camera. Privilege in a slave society is hard to let go of although it was truly a labor and economic issue; not a racial issue. Black people also owned slaves certainly.  But, if you want to ask what it might be like if white and black people would have build a bridge together or a rail road and then shop at Walmart, I have the answer.  If you want to privilege go to a four star hotel.  Feelings of Privilege and entitlement was not the purpose of slavery and if you wish to delegate labor jobs to darker peoples, then that is entirely up to you so that white people will continue to feel privilege while the efficacy is legally blunt in the privilege as you define it. But, why not utilize labor as you have designed it? That Black life is certainly precious as a trendsetting consumer.  Privilege is the purpose of racism as stoked in the early years  of the 20th century.  Darwin was not written with racial intent but was misused by those who wished to bifurcate society and the application of color blind rules. What slave owner was still alive in 1901? None. If there were any, the evidence indicates that some owners were black and some white. But, the myth of White only slave owning as stoked by effective but overly incomplete television series adaptations of books like Roots that only told one powerful and emotional story  of slavery in America helped to perpetuate an inaccurate historical understanding of slavery in the 1970's and 80's as labor in an agrarian based economy just in time for the primary colored Power Rangers generation where meets uh anything.  A complete television dramatization of slavery in America is a misnomer. But, you could try and do a masters on it. I am sure several individuals have completed such research.  Roots was one man's story and should not be thought of as definitive. Racism is social engineering when you tell your children to feel a certain way and after 1901, they are to quit playing and spending time with their old fishing buddy at the bayou since there will be blood. The Clan was White West Indian Catholic and spent much time normalizing a world view that was not uh indigenous to America.  The Black West Indian community that arrived in North America just before and after World War 2 was prepared to assist this clan in the newly emerging attitude toward work, the question on the necessity of education, study and understanding of America or Europe in its works and foundations.  The Black and White West Indian work in tandem for a mutual dependence in the larger system from which they wish to maintain a certain independence. It is witnessed in the attitude toward education and one what is the best way to survive the European as native people of various complexions.  This is the unspoken truth. The point is education does not hurt as various other ethnic groups merge and meld cultures and world views into a global economic and social system that, by design,  has room for many cultural inputs but with a "one size fits all" answer. The answer is that everybody wishes to be treated with dignity as a customer, citizen and consumer regardless of their culture and complexion and the size of a can of caramel colored coke fits every fridge. There are really only 700 million people on the planet; some Asian researchers say by looking at all electronic data available in addition to estimates for lowly populated areas with tribes people in various continents.  They tend to be suspicious and weary of anyone who actually has faith in the educational system as to graduate if not once but several times.  It may be a community that presents it self as an economy of its own and seems to have an expectation of entitlement to find and work on the gaps and lacunas in the administration of the system; as if it is the regular order of business. For instance, a plastic card payment system for transit can be opened with open source code and you might be able to debit a user's card since he is a genuine graduate regardless of race. He is expected to continually prove that he wants to live by fighting and complaining in a continual social game because he is a graduate.

 It is really not a social game because if he had a choice, he would end the game but it is social bullying and harassment.  He has shown his tenacity over the years and want to live certainly. He did  not appeal his graduation status at a mid B or A- since the appeal process does not guarantee the same grade already awarded at minimum. If you need to feel like an A in spite of your decision that education is not soo important for social authority, then get an A any way you wish in your emotions. Write it on your arm. Get a tattoo with an A but some people study music, chiropractic care or cooking because they wish to help people. It was not for attention such that some crazy relative who is 20 years younger will show up with their indiscipline, lack of genuine interest in understanding and with anger and say their job is to be this graduate as if there is only need for one such lawyer in the family. There are specialisms in law and what family would let a child think their purpose is to just subsume that older relative when there is no desire to help anyone and all you do is print off his articles and hope to apply them to any situation regardless of the facts?    The old locals who may have lived long enough to see the start of World war 2 remember the campaigning, advertising and sloganing of the new south at the turn of the century that defied reconstruction in a new and highly, racialized south. The Nazi campaigning was a more militarized, mechanized version without sheets and pointy hats and with a larger scope. The final message and apparently deliberate in nature of the Nazi campaign is that "everybody in the whole, entire world knows Volkswagen and its air cooled technology or its American equivalent and will have to buy one or else....so let Black people be consumers and the state of Israel will exist with the Falasa."  There were die hard Nazis after the war who may not have understood the reason for this unusual movement in a country that is known for its Anabaptists and various ancient Jewish communities but what was the route of Nazism and its emergence? It was more of a social and political pimple on the smooth, prayerful and whethered face of an essentially Jewish nation in terms of religious foundation that dates back to a time before the Roman empire. So, Nazism was a global high school as the military machine was not intended to seek global dominance but break American isolationism and enfeeble it's moral authority.  If it was intended for military dominance, would you have killed all of your own cows? You just shipped your nighties  and what's wrong with some black lawyers and dentists to serve the black community and the general community or will you say you are black enough to serve black people because you can play rap music in your vehicle and you want all the files available in the whole, entire city that might land on a black lawyer's desk?  After graduation, you can still play squash with your black fellow call to the bar and you should expect that he should have some files; maybe some white clients also on occasion and some Afghani clients who are rather familiar historically with the historical aura  of the Kazbah? With $40,000.00 per year as base pay to every citizen in the new economy, it will be a top up on his income if he can get a few good paying clients but the community at large needs the skills.  It will be like a worship; not an effort for attention and he will probably drive a beautiful, used 2011 Lexus SUV; SAT NAV!  You get $40,000.00 too. Everybody gets $40000.00 and is involved in his economy doing something. Each employer will provide the employee, if hired, his own additional salary as agreed upon in contract to ensure the covenants and you will work less but with a mind on serving the community; not just the imagery.  If you don't have a job, you can sell your unique crafts, arts and services that could entail baking, music, architecture, dentistry or cooking. People will work with "heart motive" and not with competition that cannibalizes and destroys. this way, black men and white will sit down on the cold ice of hockeyhood and play more hockey.   Right now, you can buy Angel Ronan Consulting for $800,000.00; the cost of  a sexy condo on a very high floor with Tasco appliances and gold plated faucets.  Do you know U tung? It was a Cuban Ship with Chinese and Mulatto workers that arrived in America in 1910 from the West Indies and did not understand how there were black school teachers. How Guee?  They tried to normalise their perceptions and expectations as based on their limited historical experience in North America and understanding.  Now currently in North America, you spend $840,000.00 educating each child from the age of 5 to 18 years old in free, government funded education as a viable worker. You might spend more to ensure social and educational competitiveness in the big race. But, what is the social race and competition? Everybody is a consumer.   No one is fighting you. Some will be very wealthy and some will be content and modest.  There is the Testarosa and Tesla versus the Tercel and Tiburon. Be a politician if you wish or whatever else it is you wish to be in breaking all the rules and killing every graduate who attended his studies with a sense of purpose while you chose appearances and you are damn angry that he, as black dude, had to work. He has no interest in being a politician.  Are you afraid your campaign will be held up if the world knows you have a black fellow alumnus who went to and finished Dentistry school?  Just have your campaign bro! He wants to just pull teeth for a living. Isn't that his profession; dentistry?  Dentists do not normally aspire to be politicians and nor should you think it!  Capisci?  Back to the point; the $40000.00 will certainly increase the number of sales and transactions hourly and daily in addition to the opportunities for finance for home purchases in a duel income household. Government Tax revenue also goes up.  Choose 10 year mortgage terms instead of 2 to 5 year terms to increase stability. People move too often and the economy is certainly always going through cycles that reflect the length of a car loan and mortgage that now also reflects the length of the average marriage. Only God alone has kept such cyclical timbrals tolerable.
