Abraham Lincoln was a practical man. By reading Marx, he had special insight into the future and a bridge of understanding that met with the factor of technology as a continuing thread through markets. You don't need slaves if you have machines but you will need well, healthy and viable consumers. He envisioned a large chain store called Target Mart or Free Mart. In fact, he wrote it down as Disney Mart; it is rumored. With equal market protection and an environement free from abuse, capitalism, in theory, promises a market of reasonable opportunity where all can have medicaid, bubble gum and a photo from Mickey Mouse. A street whore can afford boxes of bubble gum and a trip to Mickey Mouse. She can also afford a bible; especially when she used to be a dentist who was abused out of her profession and she was a quarter black woman who could pass for fully White American who went to church every Sunday and who was faithfully waiting for the right man to come along. He committed suicide when they mailed her medicard records to him that demonsrated she was a very healthy person and he had polluted the whole entire state with a very strong variant of the common cold( Snake in the eyes virus). He was the right man according to her mother and father.
