The argument about the Sabbath may continue for 1 more generations. Jesus is the reason for the season; not the sabbath. Jesus is the reason for Acts 2; not the sabbath. By that time, everyone will figure out that Jesus was a Jew and acknowledged the potential for various churches and practices in Revelations 2. The church should leave some oil in their lamp and it might help to leave some in the earth as well. A good man leaves a bountiful, viable and reproductive planet behind for his children's children. It is the only inheritance that makes an inheritance have any worth or purpose.

The argument about the Sabbath may continue for 1 more generations. Jesus is the reason for the season; not the sabbath.  Jesus is the reason for Acts 2; not the sabbath.   But, evidently the word, the law and the practice of those entrusted with the law and its fulfillment abided by the Sabbath and were not only respected but celebrated after their passing as servants of the Lord.  Paul the apostle had to address the issue and concluded on the issue in Galatians. Christ testified on the issue in Mark 3. The tension is evident. What is clear is that people breathe, eat, travel to synagogue and wash on the Sabbath. They also dress on the Sabbath and undress.  Jeremiah 17:19 speaks of hallowing the Sabbath while honoring the Kings of Israel.  The only examples of activity on the Sabbath that were performed by Kings in the public other than reading the scripture that was quite carefully scrutinized pertains to food, eating, saving and healing.  If people are healed by the word and its reading in Synagogue, who did the work? One waters, one plants but God causes the growth( 1 Corinthians 3:7).  It would not be dishonorable to the law and its provider if someone was healed in the temple or a Synagogue on the Sabbath or outside of it when the earth is  His footstool. Food and all activity related to its preparation is not work or a burden evidently. Food and its preparation as demonstrated by King David and Jesus of Nazareth are obvious exceptions to work and the burden.  Did manna fall on the Sabbath?  Did they pick up the manna on the Sabbath? Fasting is not required on the Sabbath to hallow it. But, you better agree with your Pastor since he or she will decide whether you are respecting their ministry. Just attend the church where you have peace and if they fast on the sabbath, you can argue and convince him that Jesus was right. Read Mark 3.
