So, "f---" is what you say when you speak no other language other than English but your ancestry originates from a part of the world that speaks with an emphasis that stresses confidence and certainty. But, if your facility of the English language does not empower you to speak with emphasis, then you may throw in a some kind of word that is equivalent to saying "importante" with similar energy as a fluent Spaniard, French, Portuguese or Italian.  But, it does not mean that you are from that part of the world.   It could just be a weakness in vocabulary and a defense against being associated with people who are Christian as that might be dangerous in school these days. The mob of kids may say that you think you are better than they are and might resent you for not making them feel more comfortable but you have no idea how they feel about the word or their belief that it must be used in public; as if it is a passport of method of payment.   It could be since the word only gets attention but has very little facility in terms of meaning. It is useless.
